Yes it is true most of the industrial clans it is common things know days.
As old ones who dedicated their life to built from scratch to today's position are not able to co pup with newly educated ( MBA from foreign university ) members of the family.
As they themselves & their entire staff is developed with certain culture with growing organisation these are values ,ethics,love,affection towards work & industry is different they are too close bound beyond the professional relations.
New ones are entirely developed with different culture as they are tout with different game of business .
In their teaching the money is the main force to concentrate their in business no ethics, no any personal relation is impotent , rather they are tout about ruthlessness at the business relation. as the teaching methodology is taken from western culture the entire approach is different from our Indian culture where human relations are impotent than business.
To achieve harmony between two different style some adjustment
are required basically from senior side as they are the one who are more experienced more mature but they should be alert & available at the time of change to neutralise the reaction on new change.
The handover must be a long process & presence of senior is key to successes.
