World Mental Health Day (WMHD) is a day for global mental health education, awareness and advocacy. An initiative of the World Federation for Mental Health(link is external), WMHD is an annual program held on 10 October to raise public awareness of mental health issues worldwide.

Indian thinking & entire "Hindu Jivan Dershan" is the perfect way to avoid all the mental stresses just as Mental depression etc.
In nutshell what Hindu jivan padhati describe is Soul (Atma) is impotent than Body ( Sharir )

If we continue to satisfy soul instead of sharir  the entire perspective of life changes & is the key of Mental harmony .

To avoid stress & agony anther mechanism is also suggested in Bhagwat  Gita ( Ancient Hindu holly book )by lord Krishna

          कर्मणयेवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।
          मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि।
  2.47

Whatever we do singing, writing, teaching, leading or any other type of work; we are most prone to expect the compensation or outcome of the efforts we take.  Here we deflect from the principle of disinterestedness. Producing the outcome and results is in the hands of God.
Whatever you are doing, you are working for the god. So, your work will be considered as an act of goodwill. He will offer you the eternal peace for your work.
These all any many more is Hindu Shastra on should achieve mental peace Let us focus on those principal  to  achieve better Mental health of the  world
